Aiming at the problems of traditional chaff centroid jamming， a "chaff chain" operation method is proposed based on "depolarization" phenomenon and "large target" effect. Based on the application scenario of chaff chain， the relationship between deployment length and deployment situation is further analyzed， and the operation method of chaff chain against secondary attack anti-ship missiles is proposed. The operational style has been verified in practice to effectively counter the new anti-ship missiles which have the capability of chaff identification and secondary attack.
